The ipod shuffle is influencing the future of the mobile phone markets
With its eye on the success of the portable music player, the mobile phone makers are going after the future ipod shuffle customers by building their own ipod players in their handsets.
One of the top mobile phone makers announced recently that it would soon market music player mobile phones in which you can download free music. Likewise, another mobile phone maker has formed an alliance with Microsoft to allow subcribers to download music from a PC onto their cell phone--much like the way a portable music player works.
Unlike the current mp3 player, the new mobile phone will have the capability to download free music directly onto their handsets through the wireless phone network and transfer the song tracks to computer for storage or to burn a dvd. The mobile phone maker is also unveiling a cell phone with an integrated music player and high quality stereo output.
